Using Gaelic Connect on Your Smartphone

Gaelic Connect also works on your phone! You can save the site to your smart phone’s home screen. This creates an icon on your home screen that links to the site, so that you can access the site when you are out and about. The following instructions describe how to do this using Chrome for Android and Safari for iPhone. 

If you are using Android: 

  1.  Open Chrome (or your preferred browser) 
  2. Go to the app (gaelicconnect.org)
  3. Tap the menu icon (usually three dots in top-right corner) 
  4. From the menu, select Add to Home Screen 
  5. If prompted, choose a name for the shortcut  
  6. Tap Add

If you are using iPhone:

  1. Open the Safari browser 
  2. Go to the app (gaelicconnect.org)
  3. Tap the Share icon (square with arrow) 
  4. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen 
  5. Choose a name for the shortcut 
  6. Tap Add
